Job purpose
The Implementation Engineer takes a signed scheme from contract to first verification: configuring the platform, migrating data, deploying devices, and making sure the client can run it themselves afterwards.
Key responsibilities
Deployment
- Configure schemes, benefit plans, and panel structures for new clients.
- Migrate member and provider data, validating integrity before go-live.
- Deploy and commission biometric devices at facilities, including offline-capable setups.
Integration
- Integrate with hospital management and finance systems.
- Troubleshoot data and connectivity issues across sites.
- Document each deployment so support can pick it up cleanly.
Enablement
- Train facility and scheme administrator staff ahead of go-live.
- Provide hypercare support through the first cycles.
- Feed recurring field problems back to the product team.
Key performance indicators
- Time from contract to first verification
- Data migration accuracy at go-live
- Device uptime across deployed sites
- Post-go-live support tickets per deployment
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in software implementation, technical support, or systems integration.
- Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and integration troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying hardware in the field is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and to work to go-live deadlines.
